Holly Poteete draws on over 10 years of experience with elementary and middle schools across the country. In addition to her classroom experience, she has taught technology classes for educators and parents. The Georgia Department of Education has published many of her Web-based lesson plans that integrate technology with core curriculum standards. The magazine, Learning and Leading with Technology, has also published an article based on her book, Computer Lab Teachers Survival Guide, K-6 Lessons for the Whole Year. She believes in the importance of instilling skills to children: “train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, (Proverbs 22:6).” Holly and her husband Paul are the parents of two children and reside in Monterey, California.
